Cookie Policy.
What we set, what you can control, and how to change your mind.
Last updated: 24 May 2026.
1. About cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies, and similar technologies such as local storage, to make the Kellys platform work, to remember your preferences, and (with your consent) to measure how the platform is used. This policy explains which cookies we set, why, and how to change your choice.
Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”) and, where the cookie processes personal data, by the UK GDPR. PECR allows us to set cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you have asked us to provide without your consent; for any other cookie we ask for your consent through the cookie banner the first time you visit the site.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are always set and do not require consent under regulation 6(4) of PECR because the platform cannot function without them:
sb-access-token— Supabase Auth session. Authenticates each request. First-party. Session-lifetime (typically one hour, refreshed).sb-refresh-token— Supabase Auth refresh token. Re-issues your access token without you having to log in again. First-party. Up to 30 days.kellys_cookie_consent— records your cookie choice so we don’t ask again on every visit. First-party. 12 months.- CSRF, security and load-balancing tokens set by Cloudflare and Supabase for the operation of the site.
3. Affiliate cookie (consent required)
Set only after you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner:
kellys_ref— affiliate first-touch attribution. Set only when you arrive at the site with a?ref=…URL parameter and you have given consent to non-essential cookies. First-party. 90 days. Used to attribute a subsequent sign-up to the referring creator under our affiliate programme. Under regulation 6 of PECR this is a non-essential cookie because the site is fully usable without it.
4. Analytics cookies (consent required)
Set only after you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner:
- PostHog — first-party product analytics. Captures anonymised pageview and event data so we can understand which features are used and which are broken. We have configured PostHog to respect IP anonymisation and not to capture free-text input. Cookie lifetime: up to 12 months. PostHog privacy notice: posthog.com/privacy.
5. Third-party cookies (consent required where applicable)
These cookies are set by third parties when you interact with their components on our site:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud detection. Stripe cookies are loaded only when you reach the pricing page or open Stripe Checkout. Some Stripe cookies are strictly necessary for payment fraud prevention and load regardless of consent; analytical Stripe cookies load only with consent. Stripe cookie notice: stripe.com/cookie-settings.
We do not currently use advertising or social-media tracking cookies (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight, no TikTok Pixel). If that changes we will update this policy and re-prompt you for consent before any such cookie is set.
6. How to change your preferences
- Click Cookie preferences in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice.
- Clear the
kellys_cookie_consentcookie in your browser’s site-data settings to be prompted again on the next visit. - Use your browser’s built-in controls to block or delete cookies for kellys.ai. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent you from using the Service.
- Most browsers honour the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track headers. Where we detect these signals we do not load PostHog analytics, regardless of any cookie banner answer.
